InfoMagic has now officialy implemented it's pay per question support line. This is how it seems to be going to work.
Callers to the InfoMagic Technical Support Lne - (02) 930 3999 will be charged $18 for the call. Have your credit card ready.
The exceptions are resellers of Infomagic products and callers with first time installation problems. First time installation problems are defined as those problems occuring when the software is first installed.
The $18 charge covers the resolution of problem. If further calls are required for the same problem then these will be covered by the $18 payment.
If you don't want to pay for the call then you will be refered to your local reseller.
Callers with Aldus problems will be refered to Aldus on (02) 418 8488.
The number of the HP Hotline is no longer being given out - probably due to the problems people were having with this support line. HP problems are now being refered to your local reseller who will then navigate HP support on your behalf.
Symantec problems will be refered to Symantec - 02 879 6577
OmniPage problems will be refered to OmniPage Australia -

Upgrade requests should be directed to 02 930 3990.
The implemenation of this policy means that free Adobe support is now only available through Merisel Customer Service - 02 882 8800. Good luck.

Illustrator, Streamline & Dimensions 408 986 6515
You can also fax technical support on 408 562 6767.
Adobe also offers Automated Support Line services. I have used both the fax and machine service and found them useful. A phone machine service that offers answers to common problems is available 24 hours a day on 408 986 6560. This services are best used after 6pm at the weekend when telephone connection costs are around $1 a minute to the US. Note that you have to navigate several levels of this sysem to get an answer and the automated services are for answers to FAQ type questions - ie My ATM 2.0 won't work on my Centris 650.
An Automated Fax service is available, if you have a fax machine where you can attach a push button telephone handset to negotiate the levels of the system. This service has data sheets, FAQ answers and other information. Call 408 986 6587.
Your reseller has full access to all of InfoMagics problem resolution services. So, as always, try your local reseller first.
